Extensions and Improvements to Grade II Listed Gastro Dining Pub
- Brief – Double the size of the kitchen, double the conservatory dining space and create warm roof over both the existing and extension, create letting rooms and manager’s accommodation.
- Time frame – 3 phases of development over 4 years.
- Constraints – Historic importance of the building and its setting, lack of mains drainage, maintain a working pub and business, and staffing, as well as providing continued setting and landscape for guests/customers and installing a new large treatment plant.
- Outcomes – All designs granted planning and listed building consent, tendered, constructed and now in full use.
