Redevelopment of Redundant Farmyard to Small Development

  • Brief - Design out a small former farmyard setting into new build residential use. No buildings were suitable for conversion due to dilapidated condition.
  • Time frame - Detailed design and planning achieved followed by the construction phase over 22 months.
  • Constraints - The site was in the AONB,  site levels alongside the road and surface water runoff was an large consideration, ecological work and contamination mitigation also required.
  • Outcomes - 3No. large detached, individually designed, characterful dwellings, together with garages and large gardens received detailed planning consent and building control approval, and have been constructed, landscaped and sold to new home owners.
